Partnership Spotlight: Working Hand-in-Hand with Kajiado County

Effective land restoration requires strong collaboration — and that’s exactly what the partnership between SftFA and Kajiado County delivers.

MOU

Formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), this partnership ensures that all carbon project activities align with county development and land use plans. County officials are involved in oversight, technical support, and community engagement processes, making KRCP an integrated part of the region’s sustainable future.
"This project demonstrates how conservation and development goals can work together," said a senior county officer.

Forward together

Together, SftFA and Kajiado County are charting a path where healthy lands, resilient communities, and strong governance go hand in hand. And with every water point we fund, our partners coordinate sanitation and hygiene training, and establish a local Water Committee to help keep water flowing for years to come.
