Another Big Step Forward for Our Rangelands.
Today marks a significant milestone as Soils for the Future Africa (SftFA), through the Kajiado Rangelands Carbon Project (KRCP), officially signed an MOU with the Kiluani Community Wildlife Conservancy.
But this is more than just an agreement it’s a shared commitment to revive, protect, and sustain our rangelands for future generations.
With this partnership, the Kiluani community steps forward as a key partner in implementing Rapid Rotational Grazing (RRG) a proven approach that brings:
Healthier, self-regenerating rangelands.
Stronger, more productive livestock.
Improved livelihoods for pastoral families.
A climate-resilient, sustainable future.
At the heart of it all is community. Without the unity, wisdom, and determination of the people, there can be no lasting change.
Together, KRCP and the Kiluani Conservancy are setting a powerful example of what’s possible when local communities lead the charge in conservation and climate action.
We applaud the Kiluani community for taking this bold and visionary step. This is how resilience is built block by block, pasture by pasture, and community by community.
