ABOVEGROUND BIOMASS (AGB) MEASUREMENT.

Our field team is currently conducting Aboveground Biomass (AGB) measurements across the Kajiado Rangelands Carbon Project (KRCP) area. AGB measurements are important in assessing the current biodiversity and aboveground carbon stocks in the project area. Aboveground biodiversity plays a crucial role in carbon sequestration, thereby mitigating the impacts of climate change. AGB measurements will enhance our ability to monitor vegetation recovery, quantify carbon stocks, and track long-term ecosystem health. At Soils for the Future Africa, we believe that reliable data is the foundation of credible climate solutions. Through rigorous fieldwork and collection of high-quality and credible data, we continue to build a transparent, trustworthy, and community-centered carbon project for the people of Kajiado
