2025 Ramat Conservancies Tournament and Youth Empowerment Supported by Soils for the Future Africa

Kajiado County, Kenya – June 2025
Soils for the Future Africa (SftFA) proudly partnered with local communities to sponsor the 2025 Ramat Conservancies Tournament, a vibrant event designed to celebrate youth talent, promote environmental stewardship, and amplify the voices of young people in rangeland conservation.

Held in the heart of Kajiado, the tournament brought together youth from across several conservancies, showcasing not just footballing talent but also the unifying power of sport in strengthening community bonds and raising awareness on land restoration and climate resilience.

In addition to supporting the tournament, SftFA launched a Youth Empowerment Drive focused on sustainable livelihoods and climate-smart land practices. Through targeted outreach, the program introduced young participants to opportunities in carbon projects, community grazing governance, and pasture regeneration efforts.
